PRIME MINISTER Hon Manasseh Sogavare and his Fiji counterpart, Prime Minister Hon Frank Bainimarama, flew off to Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea (PNG) yesterday morning aboard the same flight.
Today’s Air Niugini flight from Nadi, Fiji, to Port Moresby, through Honiara, Solomon Islands, saw Prime Minister Bainimarama disembark to the Henderson International Airport VIP lounge to spend a few moments with Prime Minister Sogavare before they both boarded the flight to attend the 8th ACP Heads of States and Governments Summit in the PNG capital.
Minister for Finance and Treasury, Hon Snyder Rini, is the Acting Prime Minister in the absence of Prime Minister Sogavare as the Deputy Prime Minister Hon Manasseh Maelanga is still away on an official overseas engagement.
Prime Minister Sogavare and his delegation will return on Sunday, 6 June.
