THE article ‘Axiom operates without Business licence: Premier Habu’ published on 30 March 2017 incorrectly implies that Axiom is operating illegally on San Jorge Island. This is not the case.
Axiom’s operations on San Jorge have at all times been in full compliance with the requirements of the Ministry of Mines. It holds a valid prospecting licence for San Jorge, which has been confirmed by the Director of Mines. Axiom also holds permits from the Ministry of Mines for the export of samples from San Jorge.
The Island Sun apologises for misleading its readers about Axiom’s operations on San Jorge.
