MEMBER OF Parliament (MP) for North West Guadalcanal, Hon Bodo Dettke has advised project recipients to use equipment handed over to them wisely.
Hon Dettke as part of his ongoing assistance to his constituency handed over bulks of outboard motor engines and chainsaws to the people of North West Guadalcanal at the constituency office yesterday.
He pointed out that the recipients should be very grateful as there are others who are also waiting for assistance.
He said the materials received are payed with tax payers’ money and have to be used as intended.
He warns that the Constituency administration will follow up on the projects and legal action will be taken against anyone who abuse projects.
He appeals to other MP’s to do the same as well as the responsible ministry to consider disqualifying individuals who may misuse projects allocated to them.
