POB’s digital banking service

PAN OCEANIC Bank, has now launched its first Digital Banking Cadets programme into the market to assist people from all walks of life to get onto POB Online Digital Banking.

POB’s Digital Banking service gives the user viewing and transactional access over their phones or computers anywhere, anytime, without having to come into the Bank.

Customers at POB were pleasantly assisted by the four officers to filling in Internet Banking forms, obtaining passwords and downloading the Free POB Mobile Application onto their phones for themselves or their businesses at the Hyundai Mall last week as a start to the programme.

The cadets will soon be deployed to other parts of Honiara and Guadalcanal to assist customers to get onboard POB’s online Banking.

“POB is all about empowering the nation, and it is our constant endeavour to ensure that all our services and products are empowering our employees, importantly more so our customers.

“We are proud to have been the first bank to bring flexibility and secure banking to our customers with the provision of the Free Downloadable POB Computer or Mobile Banking Application.

“The four cadets have been trained and equipped to bring this service to the nation and were part of the responses we received from our announcement on Facebook that we needed young and energetic people to join our Digital Banking Team.

“We are proud to be the first bank in Solomon Islands to provide a Free Downloadable, User friendly, Secure, Mobile Banking App for all ‘touch phone’ owners and offices or homes that have Internet access,” said Jeffery Pitamama, POB Manager – Business Development.

The public is now being informed that POB Digital Banking Cadets will be in full POB regalia and are equipped to assist you on any related enquiries to this efficient service.

Pan Oceanic Bank launched its POB Online Banking platform to assist the customer to do banking in real- time and view all their POB accounts (general, savings, business accounts, loans) status, pay their bills instantly to service or product providers, do air time topup, transfer money between their own accounts, allow parents and guardians alike to transfer savings into their children’s accounts, order cheque books and even view their bank statements.

POB has also set security features which allow transactions to happen with a Transactional password feature to give added security to our customers’ money.

POB’s phase two of the digital banking expansion to enable all analogue users to connect to POB and all non POB customers to have the ease of transacting using a unique “Person to Person” money transfer system is not more than two months away.

POB empowers not only our customers, POB provides transactional solutions to all eligible customers (18 years and over) where soon the issue of payments between every person, in any part of the country, will be a struggle of the past.
