THE TAIWAN Mobile Medical Team funded by ROC (Taiwan) government is visiting Solomon Islands this May.
The team led by Dr CHIN Yi-Ying, a dermatologist is composed of three medical doctors and three nurses from the Taiwan Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital.
While in Solomon Islands, the Team will first visit Tongan and Tango clinics of Renbell Province from 18 to 20 May and then visit Leona, Irigila and Dovele clinics on Vela Lavela Island, Western Province from 21 to 26 May.
The Taiwan Mobile Medical Team which visits Solomon Islands twice a year is one of the bilateral medical cooperation programmes between the two countries, and is aimed at providing medical consultations and treatment to the rural people of the Solomon Islands.
